Aurum Search Partners was founded to help organizations place the right person in the right seat through focused search and trusted professional networks.
Corinna Mejia founded Aurum Search Partners after more than a decade working in recruiting and talent strategy, where she saw firsthand how thoughtful hiring decisions can shape the future of an organization. Through focused search and trusted professional relationships, she helps organizations identify exceptional professionals while helping talented individuals access meaningful career opportunities.
Her approach to search is grounded in a simple philosophy: the right hire happens when the right person finds the right seat at the right time. Corinna partners closely with leadership teams and HR professionals to understand the deeper needs behind each role, conducting thoughtful, disciplined searches designed to surface high-quality candidates who may not appear through traditional hiring channels.
Before founding Aurum Search Partners, Corinna built her career recruiting within both the public and private sectors of healthcare. Over time, she led and scaled recruitment initiatives responsible for identifying physicians, advanced practice providers, and academic faculty in highly competitive markets. Through that work, she saw firsthand how thoughtful, people-centered hiring could strengthen culture, build stronger teams, and ultimately change the trajectory of an organization. Those experiences continue to shape the way she approaches every search today.
Building on her experience in healthcare recruitment, Corinna also partners with organizations across financial services, supporting banks, wealth management firms, and investment organizations seeking experienced professionals across commercial banking, trust and wealth management, private equity, and hedge funds. In both industries, her work is rooted in building trusted relationships and making thoughtful introductions between organizations and professionals whose goals and values align.
Corinna holds a Master of Business Administration from William Woods University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Missouri–Columbia. She has also completed certification in People Analytics through the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, reflecting her interest in data-informed hiring strategies.
Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Corinna now lives in Missouri, where she raised her two children, both of whom are currently in college. Outside of her work, she enjoys traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She is also actively engaged in her community and shares her home with two energetic Weimaraners who ensure life outside the office is never dull.
